How we earn money

CustomerBot is free to read. It is paid for in four ways, all visible on the page where they apply.

Affiliate and referral links

Some vendors pay a commission when a reader signs up through our link. Each profile states whether a commercial relationship exists. Links that pay us carry rel="sponsored".

Sponsored placements

Vendors can buy a featured slot or sponsor a guide. Those blocks are labelled “Sponsored” and sit outside the editorial tables.

Setup referrals

If you ask us to match you with an implementer, the implementer may pay a referral fee. You pay nothing extra for the introduction.

Newsletter sponsorship

Sponsored newsletter items are labelled.

What money can’t buy

Prices, features, watch-outs, test-call results and the order of comparison tables. Vendor listings are free; paying only buys speed or labelled visibility.
